Maring HIga : Acupuncture Support for Women’s Health

Acupuncturist-in-San Diego

I hail from the Pacific Northwest but San Diego has been my home for the last 13 years.  I received my undergraduate degree in Contemplative Psychology at Naropa University.

I moved to San Diego to attend Acupuncture school at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2003 and fell in love with the sunshine and beaches and never left.  But I still get a little homesick for trees and the seasons.

I have two children a 13 year old boy and 8 year old girl, and a wonderful husband.  When I'm not in the clinic with patients I like to spend my time crafting, writing, playing music, and spending time with my family.

From our first meeting with her, we knew we were in good hands—she was very easy to talk to about our fertility challenges, as well as the goals of acupuncture as related to fertility. My wife and I both received acupuncture treatments from Maring (once a week for me, twice a week for my wife), and by September 2012 we were expecting a baby!
